How do I use Payout to send stablecoins to my payees?

Authorize with 2FA, add a payee, and track a payout through to settlement.

A payout is how you send stablecoins from your Morph Payments account to anyone with a stablecoin wallet. One person or a batch, now or on a schedule — all authorised with 2FA and tracked in your activity alongside the payments you receive.

What you will need before your first payout

Your account balance needs to cover the payout amount and the network fee. 2FA must be set up on your account — it is required to authorise any payout. You will also need the recipient's wallet address for the stablecoin and network you plan to use. If you pay the same people regularly, the address book lets you save recipients so you do not have to re-enter them each time.

Single payouts vs. batch payouts

For one-off or low-volume payouts, create them individually in Console. For bulk payouts — payroll, creator payments, supplier settlement — upload a CSV with all recipients and amounts. You review the full list before anything is sent, and the payout batch is processed together. The same 2FA authorisation covers the whole batch.

Sending a payout

  1. Go to Payouts in Morph Payments Console and click New payout. For a single payment, choose Single recipient. For multiple recipients, choose Batch and upload or paste a CSV with recipient addresses and amounts.
  2. Enter (or confirm from your address book) the recipient's wallet address. Choose the stablecoin and network for the transfer. Review the network fee shown — this is the blockchain's cost for the transaction, not a Morph Payments fee.
  3. Confirm the payout details and enter your 2FA code to authorise. For a batch, your 2FA code covers the whole batch — you do not need to authorise each recipient individually.
  4. The payout is broadcast to the blockchain. You can track its status in the Payouts section — from pending through to confirmed on-chain. Each payout appears in your transaction history alongside the payments you have received.

Scheduling payouts

If you need to send a payout at a specific future time — end of month, Friday pay run, renewal date — you can schedule it in advance. Morph Payments will initiate the transaction at the scheduled time. Recurring payouts can be set up for regular obligations: weekly contractor retainers, monthly supplier payments. Set it once and it runs without you having to rebuild the same payout each time.

What the recipient needs

The recipient needs a stablecoin wallet on the network you are paying to. They do not need a Morph Payments account. If you are paying to a self-custody wallet (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, hardware wallet), the funds will appear there as soon as the transaction confirms on-chain. If you are paying to an exchange account, the exchange may take additional time to credit the deposit to the recipient's account balance.

Records and reconciliation

Every payout is recorded in your transaction history with the recipient address, amount, network, timestamp, and on-chain transaction hash. Export the history at any time for your accountant or for your own records. Payouts and incoming payments are in the same export, so you get a complete picture of money in and money out in a single file.
