How do I take my first payment with a Payment Link?
Create a link, share it anywhere, and get paid — step by step.
A Payment Link is the fastest way to start collecting. You create it in under two minutes, share it anywhere, and get paid — no integration required. Each payment generates a separate order automatically.
Before you start
Make sure your account is set up and your 2FA is enabled. If you plan to receive on a specific network, know which chain and stablecoin you want to settle in before you begin — you will choose these when you create the link.
Creating and sharing your Payment Link
- In Morph Payments Console, go to Payment Links in the left nav and click Create payment link.
- Enter a name for the link (this appears as the title on the checkout page), set a fixed amount or leave it open for the payer to enter, and choose which stablecoins and networks you will accept.
- In the receiving settings, choose the stablecoin and network you want funds to arrive in. This is separate from what the payer sends — Morph Payments handles any cross-chain conversion automatically.
- Copy the generated link and share it wherever your customers are: email, a button on your website, a QR code at an event, a message in a chat thread. Every payment through that link creates its own order in your dashboard and settles straight to your wallet.
What your customer sees
They open the link, see your business name and the amount (or enter the amount if the link is open), choose a payment method from the stablecoins you accept, and pay from their wallet or exchange. They do not need a Morph Payments account. The whole process takes under two minutes on their side.
Tracking payments
Every payment through your link appears as a separate order in the Payment Links section of Console. You can see the status, amount, and timestamp of each one. If you have multiple links, they are listed separately so you can see which ones are generating activity.
One link, many payments
Unlike an Invoice, a Payment Link does not expire after one payment. The same link can be paid by many people, or by the same person multiple times. This makes it the right tool for donation buttons, tipping, reusable checkout pages, and anywhere the same payment amount or flow recurs.
